strange smelling discharge

Hi everyone

Lately i've noticed that my discharge smells very slightly. Its not

so bad that I can smell it but i've been getting a lot of discharge

and when I smell my knickers its when I notice it.

The only way I can describe it is like perm lotion (im from the UK so

not sure whether others will know what this smells like) and a bit

like ammonia and I tend to get more burning with this discharge. Ive

had a few swabs done and they all came back free from infection and

std's. A few months ago I had the Ph level tested and it came back

as 5.0 or 6.0 (cant remember which !) but I thought it was because I

was on the pill and this can make your Ph level higher, Ive now

stopped taking pill and havent taken it for three and a half months.

Any idea from anyone??

..would you say it smells a little " fishy " at all? If yes..this

can be bacterial vaginosis. It's common to get with a pH in the

higher range. It can cause burning. When I had mine..I really

didn't notice the fishy smell so much until after sex so it was a

shock to learn I even had it other than I had a lot of discharge

(felt wet all the time) but mine was a clear discharge. The

discharge can be white/gray/yellow/clear. It's a sneaky bug!! It

likes to take over when your balance is off. Your balance is off

form the pills (I heard it can take up to 6 months to recover from

taking the pill).
