Guest guest
I have been asked by the nurse manager of a Primary Care Clinic re; how vitamin B12 shots are managed by other clinics. There seems to be large number of patients receiving B12 shots in the clinic where I work. Some questions . . . 1. How long should oral B12 be tried before switching to injections? 2. Do patients give themselves B12 injections? 3. What about efficacy of sublingual or nasal sprays? 4. Is anyone being tested for intrinsic factor? Beth Triner, RD, CSR.
