Did your doctor say whether the fibroid was inside (submucosal), in the

wall (intramural), or outside (subseral) of the uterus? This affects

treatment options.

Your doctor saying hormones and hysterectomy are the ONLY options is most

likely flat out wrong. I would want a specific answer from her why

myomectomy or UAE are out of the question (probably because she only

performs hysterectomies).

Definitely get a 2nd opinion on this.

Take care of yourself, and hang in there while you are searching for more

information; I know it is VERY hard to deal with that kind of bleeding problem!
