Measles and elderberry extract.

I have a friend whose 4-year old son regressed after receiving the

MMR at 15 months old. Now they think that he actually has the

measles. He had a fever and didn't want to eat much for about 3

days. He also slept more than usual during that time. Then he

started getting a rash--red spots. Today is the 4th day since he's

been sick and he has a red spot rash on his face, chest, and

spreading to arms and legs. Their doctor has them giving him tylenol

and benedryl. He also told them to give him an Alveeno bath. What I

want to know is do you think that elderberry extract would help

someone who actually has the measles--as opposed to a simmering

measles in the GI tract?
