some ideas on zyprexa:  it caused me 100 lb. weight gain.  it caused me to hallucinate.getting off of zyprexa:  i was switched from zyprexa (olanzapine) to abilify (aripiprazole).  i immediately lost 50 lbs. (in some weeks) and stopped hallucinating.  however, there are some severe side effects.  i also know someone it caused hallucinations in.

I'm not sure exactly if this is how I post a new concern... but I will try anyway.  I'll start by saying that I'm sorry that you hurt your back, and that you get well soon.  It's never good to be in pain.  I guess then I'll get to my story, which is that I'm currently on Zyprexa, and I've weaned myself down to 3.2mg out of 5 over the past 180 days.  It's a very slow going process.

I use Zydis, because it's easier to cut, and I did the math for every .05 inches or there about and use calipers to measure each cut, so it's fairly precise.  This is the second time doing this, last time got extremely messed up due to thyroid issues.  However, I see myself getting to at least 2.5mg this time.  I was curious though if anyone had any ideas on Zyprexa and getting off of it.  That would be greatly appreciated.

thank you,
