Guest guest
My dad has to have a sweetener in his coffee, he quit sugar years ago and went to a saccharin product.. then he heard of using honey. I dips the spoon in the honey then stirs his coffee with it... he loves it..... Just a thought. Topper () On Thu, 15 Jan 2004 16:48:04 -0000 " astrodiana " writes: > Really? Sweet and Low? Guest guest
Atkins syrups are sweetened with sucralose - Splenda is the brand name for sucralose. Patti in MI Re: SUGAR ......Dr. Atkins, ......BUT, he didn't mention Splenda, nor Stevia. Wish he had lived longer!! Janie

It's funny - because we don't.....the sugar craving creeps up on little cats feet and pretty soon the person's got candida and it never occurs to them. On the other hand, treating that can get rid of the craving. I think it would occur to me if I began to have trouble with a compulsion for sugar.....because it is so unusual for me. But sometimes the person needs and outside observer to mention it and bring it to their attention.. they say " no - I dont have candida! " just like people never like to admit they were sleeping if you call and wake them up...LOL
Guest guest
I am definitely a sugar addict, less a " carb " addict. But in my case, it's from being raised on so much sugar for so long....Next week, I am going to start some kind of program to stop my sugar addiction...am researching it on the internet right now. When I tried the Fat Flush plan earlier last year, I craved sugar SO bad after 7 days that I was dipping a wet spoon in the sugar bowl!!!! Addiction to sugar is REAL in my case. Guest guest
Hi, , The flawed testing done on Saccharin was so totally radical and it was a chemical company that funded the study -- guess who? Dow Chemical, the owners of Aspartame's patent. Patents run out after a specific time, so I wonder what they will come up with the keep the money coming into their coffers? I use some sugar because it beats the alternatives. When sweetening a beverage, and it is available to me, I use liquid Sweet n Low (Saccharin) and I like it. It is the only artificial sweetener that does not respond in my system as if I were eating/drinking alcohol. Strange, but that's me... Considering the things that have been added to the growing of anything and everything in this country, there is risk associated with everything, including just breathing. It is so sad that greed plays a higher role in life today than honesty and human well-being...
