Guest guest
** Kathy, re: response below. You're taking far too many things to stabilize. You're yanking your chemistry all over the place. Your chances of stabilizing are slim unless you discontinue all these things. Regards, Thank you for answering my post. In rereading it I hope it was clear that I was asking if I should up dose to where I was before I did the last cut. I was feeling better before I cut. The issue is last time I cut too much 5% so I updosed. Waited to stabilize feeling much better for a week at original 1.75 dose. Cut 1-2% (really hard to measure in the vial such a small amount) and have been sick, depressed etc since as mentioned in original post. Your Questions: Liquid klonopin is 0.5mg/ml suspension Rx by my psycho pharmacologist. 1.75 ml and taper as directed. OTC drugs: Prelief for IC pain. 1 AM and 1 PM Took Sine-Off for cold first 2 days of cut then stopped Take 1 aspirn for headache every 3? days for severe headaches and knee pain 2 or 5 mg melatonin every 3? nights for a few hours of sleep Chinese herbs as needed for immune support Homeopathic supplement (klonopin) given by psycho pharmacologist No other Rx drugs No alcohol No recreational drugs now or in past So question remains do I updose and wait for a longer period of time before I try cutting again? My brain feels " fried " after 3 months of c/t ambien and Darvocet and 3 attempts at klonopin even at minimal cut. Does your brain ever need time to hold between drug w/ds? After 3-4 months I amstill at my original dose of klonopin..discouraging. Guest guest
Thanks, I will cut out these things. The Interstitial cystitis relief will be tough but will handle it. Once a month I get “flu-like” symptoms with severe migraines for the last 40 years so dealing with those is my toughest burden, worse than benzo w/d. Never found the cause of this hormone imbalance after never being sick in my life before that. ***Just as an FYI on the compounded klonopin from a compounding pharmacy. The first time I took it I told my dr. it made me queasy and didn’t like the taste. Hence I took both pills and liquid. My dr. called the pharmacist and got the medium the klonopin was in and it was basically sugar (in 2 forms) and all artificial “junk”. I did not find this out until 2 days ago when I saw him. I told him I don’t eat that way with all that junk in my food. Next time we try a liquid he found one that will make it in either an olive oil or almond oil medium. Stopped it that night, updosed and then suffered with24-48 hours of diarrhea and headache. Related or just my crappy immune system with a stomach flu. Just thought I would pass this on re: the compounding medium. Giving my body time to clean out and will try again next month. kathy

Guest guest
So I updosed back to my original 1.75 mgs klonopin (pills) on 4/4, cut out occasional OTC pills and added a good fish oil magnesium. Still not stable and getting worse. spent last 3 days in severe depression, hysterical crying, fibro pain, exhaustion and nausea that has not stopped for months. 'I'm assuming updosing more is not an option?' How long does this take to stabilize? Is this expected reacton from cutting some Prelief and aspirin? The herbs from Tom Tam I had stopped a month ago. Should this stabilize soon? I leave on vacation on Wednesday which was th epoint of updosing and waiting to cut again after a break. I know everyoneis different but hoping you can help. Kathy>> ** Kathy, your problem is not all about Klonopin. Below you mention this: " My brain feels " fried " after 3 months of c/t ambien and Darvocet and 3 attempts at klonopin even at minimal cut... " ** This is all from a few drugs, not just one. ** No amount of adjusting Klonopin is going to compensate for dropping Ambien and Darvocet so quickly. There are things to be done but it is too complex and detailed to work with in email/on the group. Guest guest
Should I book a consult with you? Depression is lifting but want to handle this all the best way from here on if there is more things I can do as you mention. I did not updose. Still at 1.75 mg klonopin. I had planned to stay at this dose for a few months but it appears you have other things I can be doing. I will have limited access to computers after today (sunday) only an IPhone as my computer has a virus and is being repaired. Thank you kathy >> ** Hi Kathy, I think this would be the best route for you right now as long as you're committed to it. There are people who do the consultation but have no intention on acting on what they need to do.They expect to hear a magic bullet that will be easy and quick to fix things. This doesn't exist. But there are things one can do to minimize the damage being done and maximize the recovery process. Like everything else, it is specific to a person's circumstances. There is no one formula that is best for everyone. The material needed for consultations is in the FILES section on the group site. You may have to wait until your computer is fixed as there is a form of several pages to fill out as part of preparing for your consultation. It gives me a good picture of your situation. Of course, if you can, you could always go to the library and use the computer there to fill out the form. Do whatever works best for you.
