Guest guest
HI , My doctor switched me to 2mg of K, which was another updose from 30mgs V, last Monday. Still feel the w/d symptoms, but my mind is more clear. Lots of physical stuff. He wants me to wait and see how I feel , but doesn't say how long. Very concerned about going up too high on the K. Felt a bit sedated last week, but not yesterday or today. (Valium is still washing out, too) Also, want to knock out the symptoms if possible & feel normal again. Is this possible? Looking for the next best step to take, from here. Not sure if I can taper yet, or if I should remain on the drug. Thanks so much. Aryana ** Aryana, You said: <<Very concerned about going up too high on the K.>> ** Think about this. There's no danger. It's immediately reversible. If it's too high, you just drop it down the next day. You said: <<Also, want to knock out the symptoms if possible & feel normal again. Even this may not be possible because of the amount of time that has passed since you stopped the Klonopin. You said: << Not sure if I can taper yet, or if I should remain on the drug.>> ** I've said this repeatedly. You cannot taper a drug if you are already unstable. It will only make it worse. Get stable 1st NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES TO DO THIS. Only then can you safely begin decreasing the drug. --
