<<Hi :

This is again. Have been busy reading the posts on Withdrawal & Recovery,

etc. I would like now to recontact you for some support.I am hoping to get some

emotional support here w/ this group; also any pertinent advice as needed for

the reduction of the drugs themselves. I like to keep things positive & simple.

I am currently on risperdal (1mg)/ cogentin (.5mg)/ & depakote (750mg). The

obvious side effects to me from the risperdal that bother me the most (shaking

of my hands) make me want to get off this drug as soon as possibe (it interferes

w/ everything I do).

I don't want to go too slow unnecessarily. How do I know the best pace to go? I

have had trouble w/ this reduction. This may have been more situational than the

drug itself. I am feeling much more stable now than w/ the attempts before. I am

feeling tired & weary however; encouragement would be helpful at this point.

Thank you, >>

** Hi ,

The answer to your question is in my response to the first post you wrote to

this list. Here it is pasted below.

read this message so I'll keep it brief. am looking to get off of risperdal/

some emotional help as in encouragement, etc. & good information about these

drugs, & how to support my body in the withdrawal process. (simple & basic)I

believe if I do my part, my body knows how to do the rest.would like to hear

from those who can help me w/ this endeavor, including Creel Thanks

** Hi , welcome to the group. First, for an idea on how to safely reduce a

drug, please see post number 29134. That's just a generic tip but a very

important one. Please feel free to post your story. I can't be more specific

without knowing the specifics.

** This depends on how you define doing your part. Your body cannot do its part

unless it has what it needs to work with.
