Guest guest
I hard boil eggs a few at a time at night and grab a couple in the morning when I need them From: Withdrawal_and_Recovery [mailto:Withdrawal_and_Recovery ] On Behalf Of Sheila HerdSent: Monday, April 11, 2011 12:18 PMTo: Withdrawal_and_Recovery Subject: Re: Low blood sugar and chromium Hmmm hadn't thought of fish, only thought of eggs but I don't really have time to boil or poach eggs every morning, you mean like mackeral on wholewheat toast or something? Oily fish works quite well for me, porridge certainly wouldn't keep mine stable. Fish for breakfast maybe? Not sure on Chromium, that's a Cath question! I am withdrawing veeeerrrry slowly from Prozac and after three years I'm now down to 1.80mls.I have always had low blood sugar, for years, way before I ever had depression and was put on antidepressant medication. I manage to always keep my weight stable at 142lbs (5 feet 6 inches) so I am ok weight for my height, but I do struggle somewhat to do this, I generally have 100g porridge for breakfast, if I had the 40g reccomended on the box I would crashing mid morning, get shakey, faint, headachey, starving hungry. I try to eat as little sugary stuff as possible in my diet and eat pretty healthy, lots of fruit and veg, I read somewhere that chromium is really good for helping with low blood sugar symptoms, is this worth trying? or would it be a complete waste of money?
