Guest guest
On Klonopin for 8 years for facial neuralgia .5mgs 3x day then started taking it all at night. Now splitting 2 x day. Jan. 11 stabilized on klonopin 1.75 mgs (split am and pm) after difficulty cutting klonopin (too high cut plus on Darvocet) Darvocet and Ambien cold turkey Jan 6 3/1 Cut K 5% (1/4 pill of .5mg) to 1.66 from 1.75 . Severe symtoms after 2 days Returned to 1.75 mg to stabilize on 3/9. Now 3/ 14 still not stable. Still in hell 3/27 stabilized for over a week and started compounded klonopin for nightly dose 3/27 cut 1% .0175 4/4 very sick, no sleep, brain and body exhausted, ear and teeth pain along with knee ligament pain, headaches, anxiety *************************** , In reviewing my history above could I ask you if you thought I should wait longer to cut my klonopin after doing the c/t on Darvocet and Ambien in January? Back in Dec when I first attempted the k cut I was never this bad. Does my brain need longer time to heal from the previous drugs and previous cut attempts? Before I did the last cut last week I was stabilized and feeling more " normal " with a clearer head and a more energy. Any opinion if I should put off cutting for a few more months as to me I appear to be having a pretty severe reaction on such a tiny liquid cut? Hope this is not too complicated as I know you are busy. I have been trying to go on my own since being in touch in Jan re the Darvocet. Kathy>> ** Kathy, the deciding factor ALWAYS (unless one is having serious adverse reactions to a drug) is that unless you feel as well or better than you felt prior to the last reduction, you cannot do another reduction. You know it's time when you feel better. You mentioned compounded Klonopin. What dose is that? Don't automatically answer. Look at the bottle and write it just as the label says. Are you taking any over-the-counter (OTC) drug at all? Have you had any alcohol at all? Any other Rx drugs? Or recreational drugs? Please answer each question. Thanks. --
