Guest guest
, I will be praying for you and your daughter. I have a daughter who was on an SSRI as a teen (prescribed at 14 years old), and recognize the side effects you are describing. With 's help and my daughter's determination she has been free from Zoloft for almost a year. It is hard work and done correctly is a slow process. Don't let that scare you- because life WITHOUT an SSRI is really life. Life on an SSRI in my daughters words is pretend. brings up a great point- doctors just don't understand the process of coming off- they move too quick through reductions and the patient ends up thinking they really do need the drug (because they feel so poorly following the doctors reduction plan). Encourage your daughter when she is ready to let help her. Repeating - hang in there and take care of yourself and stay in touch with this group. with love and hugs Amy in MN mom to "Honey"- now 20 years old Amy, thrilled to hear how well Honey is doing. I remember so well when you first found the group. With Love
