Please ask them to work with their Senate colleagues and House leadership to pass SB 2654. This bill has many provisions that would benefit people with autism and other developmental disabilities, including one to require private health insurance providers and the state's own health insurance program, KidCare, to cover therapies for people with autism and other developmental disabilities. It is imperative that you contact these lawmakers before 6 p.m. Friday, May 2, which is when the 2008 legislative session is expected to end. Thank you for your support. Please call the Council office if you have any questions.
