Guest guest Posted November 14, 2002 Report Share Posted November 14, 2002 Saw my rheumy today - I wish I could say it was all good news, but it wasn't. She said in addition to the DLE, SLE, Leukopenia, and other fun diseases, I have Fibromyalgia and the disks in my neck are deteriorating...I have to go to physical therapy and she wants me to start taking Elavil. Anyone else take that? I know some have Fibromyalgia - any advice? I have such a hard time getting out of bed in the morning and then, when I do get to work, I have so much work to do, but have trouble staying awake - I don't fall asleep, but I am just so damn tired all the time. I feel like my joints all ache and my thigh muscles are always hurting... It's not enough to get the SLE dx, but now this...what happened to me? I feel like I did something wrong or didn't do something right - not enough exercise, let myself get too stressed, what?! It's as if things are snowballing and I am afraid to go back - what's next? I have to go back in 3 weeks for more blood tests - my counts are all still too low - she said it's too soon to say the Plaquenil isn't working - also, if the Elavil doesn't help,s he will try me on Flexeril.
