Chat function (w/response)

Hi all:

I am new to the group and I have no idea how to use a chat format--do I need a

" handle " ?  Do I just send an e-mail like this?

** Up until 10 min. ago all you needed to do is click on the word CHAT in

the left column. This would load the chat room. But having seen this I recalled

that I wanted to disable the chat function. My reason is that bad information

gets shared in chat rooms by people thinking they're helping. The last thing I

want to do is spend time correcting things people heard in the chat room. For

this reason I have disabled the chat function.

The best way to get info here is to post to the mailing list as you just have.
