[ ] Seeing new rheumatologist tomorrow

Tomorrow I am traveling to outside of Philadelphia to meet with a new

rheumatologist. I am not looking for a second opinion as much as I am looking

for a clarification of the diagnosis I was given by my current rheumy. He is an

older doctor and while I love him and his bedside manner, I have to wonder if I

may not be better treated by a younger doctor who is more familiar with more

aggressive treatments.

The exam is supposed to last approximately 2 hours. I am really looking

forward to it. I will first meet with the nurse practitioner and then the

doctor.

Wish me luck and hope for the weather to stay clear here in NE PA! I am

traveling nearly 2 hours to get to this appt!

Willow Grove. They practice I am going to has 3 offices but I chose Willow Grove

because it is easily accessible from the turnpike.

I am seeing Dr Eisner. I wanted a younger, female doctor and she is on my

insurance so... BONUS! I hope I like her. I meet with the NP at 1 and then Dr.

Eisner. I have been running around all day getting my records from the various

doctors and hospitals!

I am really glad to know somoene else who goes to this practice and likes them!

I hope I like them!

I see Dr. lin and I think he's the top. He's also head of Rhumatology at

Abington Hospital which is a very large suburban hospital with a great

reputation (I'm originally a city girl and feel that if you sick, you belong

downtown so for me to say that Abington is very well respected is a huge thing

for me). I haven't heard anything about her, personally, I just prefer male

docs but I hope you make out well and let me know! The office is so close to

the Turnpike, you'll like that.
