Guest guest
<<I only recently joined this group, have consulted with , and am currently using flower essence as prescribed. I appreciate the initial emails of support from others who have dosed off their medications. I have been taking Co-Q 10 for several months and am now running low. I recently received Carlson's liquid fish oil, Natural Life minerals, and Buried Treasure VM 100 complete, which I have taken for a few days now, as prescribed. Should I continue the Co-Q 10? >> ** Hi Shea, Why were you taking it in the 1st place? What people often don't know is that if you are over 40 yrs. old and taking CoQ10 in the form of ubiquinone, you're not getting enough CoQ10. You body needs to convert this to ubiquinol but struggles to do this after 40. Instead, take ubiquinol. But dose also matters. You want to take at least 100 - 200 mg of this. If a person who is younger is using ubiquinone, they need at least 900 mg daily. That's even somewhat low. I recommend that people just take the ubiquinol instead. I want to take only the supplements that are necessary for good health. I can buy ubiquinol from vitacost, and I will do so if I am not getting what I need with the Carlson's fish oil, Natural Life minerals, Buried Treasure VM 100 complete, as well as the magnesium I am currently taking which you advised me to increase and continue. So, just to clarify, in your opinion, is it a good idea to take ubiquinol as a supplement for mental health?>> ** Things cannot be boiled down to such singular things as being good for mental health. All vitamins, minerals, etc. can be good for mental health. As far as CoQ10 goes, if I had taken a drug that depletes CoQ10 then I'd definitely take it. -- > ** > > > <<I only recently joined this group, have consulted with , and am > currently using flower essence as prescribed.
