Hi :

This is again. Thank you for your quick response & advice.

I understand what you wrote well enough. However if I am tired of trying to get

off these drugs, & constantly struggling w/ the side effects; how do I know when

the best time is to make another medication reduction? The risperdal/ cogentin/

& depakote drain my energy, making me tired . I go to bed early & get up in the

morning at a good time for me. I wake up at night a time or two to use the

bathroom. (this has developed over the last last couple of years due to the

meds) The medications also make me anxious. There is nothing inherently wrong

w/ me to be anxious about inside myself, & my environment has greatly improved.

Neither is causing the kind of anxiety that I feel constantly.

So I need to get off these drugs as soon as I can, like I said, so I can start

feeling good again.

So my question to you is: If you are at a point that you never really feel good,

how do you know when to do your next reduction? This tiredness, w/ having my

energy drained by the drugs, is coupled w/ weariness, from being on them for so

long & struggling to get off of them.

I know that I don't need them; that's not the problem. I just need to decrease

in a way that will bring me success this time, & as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time & efforts. >>

** I understand what you're saying but I'm not sure you're really getting

what I'm saying. I said nothing about feeling good. I said when you feel as

well or better than you felt prior to the reduction you can do another

reduction. THis means precisely what it says -- if you feel the same as you

felt prior to the reduction, or better than you felt, you can do a reduction.

If you feel worse, no reduction.

Ar you getting this now?

Regards,
