Its a cannot find server- microsoft internet explorer. When this pops up it shuts down what ever I am working on, whether its a game or reading email. It even pops up when I am not even on line. Now I am also getting a little pop up that says can not view this page offline, connect or work off line. Guest guest
Sounds like you have a worm. I did and mine was acting somewhat like that. Had to add a patch and clean it out...and I couldn't do it so it cost me $30.00 to have it done. I wish those people who create worms and viruses could find something useful to do...like maybe telling us how to avoid worms and viruses. > I need some computer help. Guest guest
Perhaps you need to install Lavasoft ad-aware 6. This identifies and will delete or quarantine data miners(cookies that track where you go on the Internet and, in some instances, cull information you enter like passwords, etc.) Another very important and free tool is Kolla's SpyBot Search and Destroy program. This identifies and isolates spyware on your computer. It sounds to me like you have some spyware on your computer. Both these programs are great. The other program I recommend is an online virus scan called Panda Activescan. You go to the site and download (as you do the others) This scan has found Trojans and viruses that my own anti-virus program has not. Hope this information helps more than one person! These programs are recommended highly by Manzo on radio and johnmanzo.tv Carol I need some computer help. So if anyone know how to solve my problem > let me knoe. Guest guest
Sory to hear about your tumor markers. I couldn't take tamoxifen becuase I am receptor negative. Some of the ladies here have had reoccurances and will more than likely get back with you. We also have a sister group which is Stage IV and most all of those ladies have been battling reoccurances. If you would like their url let me know and I can post it for you. I will keep you in my prayers. I am 35 an 8 year breast cancer survivor. 2 years ago I was diagnosed w/ adv.breast cancer in the lungs.I just found out Friday that my tumor marker has increadsed 100 points over the last 6 months. Chest x-ray and Bone scan are negative for adv mets. but the doctor seems to think that a). It will show up on a cat scan of the chest or . to early to detect on diagnostic machines. Never the less. I was first on tamoxifin for 5 years and did well. It was after I stopped the tamoxifin that the cancer immediately returned. 2 years ago when it did return I was very lucky that my doctor took a chance by putting my body in menopause and giving me arimidex. Now it seems that my body isn't reacting to the arimidex any longer and the doctor wants to try the tamoxifin again and repeat blood test in 4 weeks. I am so scared I do not want to have to relive the chemo again. I have an 8 yr old son who was too young to know what was happening to me then, but I don't want him to have to see me go through this again. My husband and family are great and I try to be strong in front of them but I am internally devestated. I almost feel like ending my life so that I won't suffer. My husband suggested that I try a supprt group, which lead me to breastcancer2. Can anyone relate to me? Guest guest
No worries!! 40#s is a lot of weight to lose so fast!! Congratulations. You will probably have a short plateau soon while your body tries to readjust and free up more fat cells to lose. Keep working your program and increase exercise and it will just continue to fall off. Isn't it awesome?? How are you doing with eating now? 5 wks out..wow I remember those days. I couldn't eat much without throwing up lol Now I can eat anything..dang thats wonderful!! I believe its Obesityhelp.com that has a graphing program. Type in your stats and it shows you what is your expected loss based on your size, and how fast to expect it. We all, of course, vary in our losses but for the most part we drop as the graph shows. Mine was almost exactly on task. Good luck! Drink drink drink..protein protein protein, exercise, exercise exercise (that should be a 4 letter word!! LOL) Kat Lap RNY Drs. Guest guest
This was the guy that helped me... he did seem to get back with me somewhat timely. Not overnight, but within the week. HTH, help I have been asked to give a talk for some local dietitians at a food show. I am interested in making sure that they can receive credit towards cpe's. How exactly do I go about doing this?
