Well that depends on your doctor, mine is twice a year. Please watch that,

my MIL though has severe Osteo, was always getting her hip injected, and on

large courses of prednisone, due to lung problems, her ortho said the shots

helped to get her to a hip replacement! So please be careful with it. Do you

have to pay each time you go? Would you be able to make payments? Check with

your hospital, ask for their social service dept., and see if there is a

program available to help you pay for your PT.

Have a great day !

My sister has severe asthma. She took high doses of Prednisone for a long period

of time and had to have hip surgery on both hips. She'll probably have to have

hip replacements in the next few years. Now she takes a 5 hour drive several

times a year to see an asthma specialist in San Francisco and feels she gets

better overall care. This MD is even willing to work with her regular MD - what

a gem.

Hi !

I get them for my knee as I have major problems and

effusions in both knees. My doctor will only give

them to me once every six months:( Hope this helps
