I'm glad you're doing well. I had liver abscesses after an ERCP which

necessitated surgery and was in the hospital after a hepaticojejunostomy

for 11 days, home for 10 days and back in for 10 days. We spent our

30th anniversary sitting on our patio blowing bubbles with me too weak

to sit up... but grateful to be alive. It was a special day, nonetheless!

Do not underestimate how much impact that infection has/had on your

stamina!

Enjoy your special day,

Penny

slowly recovering while on IV antibiotics and with a drain in the abscess.

I was discharged for the second time on May 10th (still with the drain).

By this time, my friend had also been discharged and was doing very well

at home.

.. Coincidentally, today is our silver

wedding anniversary (Aubrey, you will get there eventually!) - unfortunately,

we cannot celebrate quite as exuberantly as we would like but, celebrate

we will. I know I would not have survived these past 8 weeks without 's

help & support. I will keep you informed

of our future progress.Regards,Terry

Terry,

Congrats to you and ! It sounds like you are lucky to have one another.

That is certainly worth celebrating!

I'm glad to hear you are doing better and that your donor has returned to

work. Sounds like everything is moving in a positive direction. My family

and I (as I always give them updates on everyone) will be celebrating with

you and in spirit. Not only for your anniversary, but the second

chance at life!

Hi Barbara, Sorry to hear you've not been well. We've been "out of the loop" for a while too and are just getting around to catching up with everything. Hope you're feeling better. and Terry
