Guest guest
Hi Jocelyn! One of the things I learned in physical therapy is a recumbant bike..pacing yourself on one of those. Also, there are PACE classes the Arthritis Foundation offers. Some activity can even be done sitting down. Hydrotherapy pace classes are great as well! I have it bad it both knees as well as bilateral patella femoral syndrome and fibromyalgia. The water made it weightless and takes a lot of pressure off the joints. Hope this helps! Guest guest
There was a show on cable tv, sorry I can't remember the name of it,. But this show had exercises that a person sitting could do. It was on daily like many other exercise shows. Maybe it was called Sit & Fit??? --- In , " jdurren " <j.durrenberger@...> wrote: > > I'd like to know what folks have done for aerobic activity when they > are unable to walk. Guest guest
Jocelyne... I have found a yoga teacher who has developed " Restorative Yoga " and it is the one hour each week I am pain free. We have a couple of people who can only sit and participate and she uses the big balls also. That might help.
