Guest guest
Hi, I am new here but having some issues with coming off Celexa. I started taking 10 mg in November 2010 due to some anxiety. I have since visited a wellness clinic and am seeing a holistic doctor and have being treated for adrenal fatigue and thyroid issues. My diet is very good now and I'm taking some helpful supplements so I thought it time to get off this drug which I really never wanted to start in the first place and I should have listened to my gut instinct. My prescribing doctor recommended one week at 5 mg and then stop, which is what I did and took my last half dose two nights ago. However, today I felt dizzy, nauseous and foggy headed today so I took half again. I would like to know, in your experience, should I continue to taper slowly or just withstand the symptoms? Is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks!>> ** Yes, you went off too fast -- much too fast. Go back to the original dose, wait until you feel better, then do a 5% reduction. When you feel better, write again and let me know more about what you're doing. Regards,
