Guest guest
Hi , I'm trying my best to fill out your consultation form, but it causes increase in symptoms, & not focusing well. Brings up old trauma, & I can't communicate well, right now. You might not get the complete picture. Is that oK? Please bear with me. Considering the 5mg updose. Working with therapist/coach. Can't swallow pills, due to throat tightness; have paradoxical symptoms like drinking water & getting dry mouth. Thanks for being here. I am doing the best I can, but the suffering is just too great & too prolonged now. Aryana ** Hi Aryana, You're in crisis. When a person is in crisis, the ONLY thing to do is to intervene in the crisis. Stop listing symptoms and just take action. A consultation is not practical until you are out of crisis. Getting out of crisis is easy. Doing a significant increase is the answer. Going back to the last dose you were on before you began to feel poorly is what will fix this. Then you can do a proper withdrawal. Stop erecting barriers. If you can't swallow, crush the pills and put them in applesauce. And you may want to consider not seeking advice from anyone who got you in this mess to begin with. You're talking about " the suffering is just too great & too prolonged now " but you're merely " considering " increasing by 5 mg. Realistically, I fully expect that the 5 mg increase will not be enough and you'll need to do what I said above. But 5 mg is a good place to begin. I've given you all the info I can at this point. There is no more for me to say. If you don't want to do this there is no use in continuing an email exchange. Your preferences do not change what is necessary. If a person needs to have a limb amputated to prevent sepsis from affecting other body parts, no amount of not wanting to have the limb amputated will change that it is necessary. This is where you are now. If you want to fix how you feel you will raise your dose 5 mg at a time. If you don't do it, there are no other options for you to feel better. You are far from the only person to be a complete mess and barely able to function. People dig deep and find the energy to take the necessary action. You can do this, too. You have more energy and ability than you think you do. If you were completely unable to do anything you would not be able to send as much email (and the long emails) you are currently sending to me. You know what I think. Please stop telling me all kinds of symptoms. It doesn't change the course of action. BTW, so you know, the reason others are not responding is because they recognize that right now there is nothing to discuss. You need to be out of crisis first. They've almost all been where you currently are so they know it is waste of time to keep talking about it. You just have to act.
