Dear Florida Autism Advocate,

We received a report back from Speaker Rubio's legislative aide

that they received 1000 phone calls between Wednesday afternoon and

Friday afternoon.

Only 1000 calls?!

WE HAVE ONE WEEK LEFT TO PASS THIS BILL THROUGH THE HOUSE AND ON TO

THE GOVERNOR'S DESK! FIVE BUSINESS DAYS. 120 HOURS. EVERY SINGLE

SECOND COUNTS!

1000 phone calls may seem like a lot, and I wouldn't want to get 1000

phone calls in a 48 hour period myself, but it absolutely will not

demonstrate how many people in the state of Florida are affected by

his decision! He needs to hear from the people. ALL of the people!

Anyone who knows your child that will call on your child's behalf!

WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

1. Starting today, Monday, April 28th, you need to CALL, CALL, CALL

Speaker Rubio at and ask him to allow HR 1291 to go to

the floor for a vote. 2/3 of the House is behind the citizens in the

state of Florida, but the only way they can act is if Speaker Rubio

allows them to vote.

2. Pass this action alert on to everyone you know and ask them to

call on behalf of your child. Neighbors, Teachers, Doctors, Co-

workers, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents - as long as they live

in the state of Florida, ask them to CALL today!

3. Then, follow up with an EMAIL to the Speaker.

PUT HIS NUMBER IN YOUR CELL PHONE ON SPEED DIAL.

Then lather, rinse, repeat until this bill is heard!

We have come too far to lose our chance at receiving the financial

relief that your families deserve!

Thanks and happy dialing!
