Kami-

Maybe u missed my post yesterday to your question why they put you on

this med. I had posted several yrs back before I was diagnoised with Fibro they

put me on this with vicocin also, hoping it would work as they use it for PAIN

relief also, if I remember right if they could get it to a level where it would

work for pain relief the hope was I could stop the vicodin as at the time I did

not like and would not taking it during my work hours as my job was giving meds

to PTs, well they had to keep increasing he dose, until I got to the Max u could

take in a day, and it did not elevate all of the pain, I had c/o with what I

felt were kidney related, and ??? the Dr. of coming off, he did not want me to

stop, kept going for close to a year, but did not like how I felt on it I felt

highish, and the kidney thing bothered me,a test showed blood in my urine, and

they got all worked up telling me I needed to see a uroligist, but still did not

want me D/C ing this med. I ended

up stopping it myself after having a blood test showing they could not up the

dose any higher and I still had alot of pain. But it does work for Pain in

others, I am a tough case when it comes to getting me pain relief. Hope you

have found your answer also from Dr., The Rheumo when I went to her mentioned it

to me, and I told her had already been on it and did not care to try again. I

now take Soma tid and it helps the best of all I have tried and when I have

stopped taking them I feel it......

Neuronton works to relieve pain symptoms. THey usually start as a low dose

then increase over time. I am up to 2700mg a day, I take 900mg TID.
