Guest guest
I am perscribed risperdal because I hear voices that are negative. I have had these voices since 1998. I was perscribed ambien about 7 years ago. I heard about taking calcium magnesium and tryptophan to relax but my mind is like a light. I am always awake and its hard for me to get into delta waves or deep sleep. I take benedryl, valarian root and melatonin and think that it's just too much to take. > > > <<I take risperdal and have gained a lot of weight. I was wondering what sort of homepathic remedies can I take instead of this antisychotic. It has potent side effects. I also take ambien for insomnia. What sort of homepathic remedies are there for insomnia. > > thank you, Andres>> > > > Hi Andres, > > Welcome to the group. If you do some reading in our files and back messages, you'll see that there's no such thing as one remedy to eliminate your problems or to substitute for a drug you are taking. I'd be glad to explore the Risperdal issue with you but this would require quite a bit more information from you. > > Regarding insomnia, nothing makes insomnia worse than a drug for insomnia. To get through to the point of being able to address the insomnia, you have to be willing to put up with having difficulty sleeping while coming off Ambien. Think about it. > > How long have you been on both drugs and why were you prescribed Risperdal? > > Regards, > >
