Guest guest
As a food aficionado and fan of the Food Network, I appreciate a's style, charm, and humor. As a Registered Dietitian, I appreciate that all foods can fit, and that a little bit of real butter and cheese is better than a lot of the fake stuff. But as a food professional, I was appalled and sickened watching a constantly LICK her fingers as she was filling the pasta shells with her cheese mixture. Yes, she was LICKING her fingers then picking up another pasta shell. I know this is a regular habit of hers, but this is NOT her personal kitchen. She is setting an example for others. This is a huge food borne illness risk and has no place in professional cooking whether there is going to be adequate heat in the cooking process or not. In the future, please provide Ms Deen with an appropriate hand washing sink and towel, and tasting spoons, so she may demonstrate safe food handling skills.
