Guest guest
Yes, Shirley, it's possible that you will be able to increase your MTX later. Guest guest
If your function gets in the normal range then you should be able to go back. You might try 100% real cranberry juice. I have a friend that take 8oz of it and mixes it in with her big jug of water that she drinks during the day. She got her liver function in the normal range doing that(she takes MTX). Guest guest
You know what they say, 8 oz. a day keeps the liver toxins away! Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Drinking the cranberry juice seems like something easy to do to keep the liver happy in general, so I think I'm going to give it a try. I worry about my liver because of the MTX and other drugs I take and I'd rather be proactive than reactive. Guest guest
I will warn you that the real stuff..it very bitter. Don't add sugar. Take the 8oz and mix it with a large amount of water and drink it over the course of the day.
