Gwen,

You need not apologize...our hearts go out to you. I can't believe that this is happening to you...maybe there is hope for you still. Maybe the doctors will have some alternatives for you on Friday. One thought I had that Dr. Indman said was this... a woman with Ashermans can have two or more unsuccessful surgeries by the same surgeon and then a third (or fourth) surgery does the trick. He said that he has seen many times women with Ashermans going through multiple surgeries with no results and changing nothing in the way the surgery was done, or the post surgery treatment and then a final surgery suddenly works and for no apparent reason. He can't explain why this happens, but he says that it happens all the time. So, if you still have good eggs (which I don't) you can keep trying. I don't know if this is helpful...but there is hope.

So, don't give up yet. And if it's true about your uterus and you find yourself not wanting to pursue this any further, have you thought about surrogacy? I had to go through tons of mental anguish and research on this alternative and I found that I am much less fearful of it now (food for thought). I guess I had to do the research and mental anguish part because I needed some alternatives so I would remain hopeful. And I have done it and now I am hopeful...hope is a good medicine. It's like the strength peas.

Take care of yourself....have hope and you will get through this,

Dear Gwen,

I have been thinking about you also. That is just terrible hearing

about your ATM cards. What a nightmare!!! I would like to strangle

the person. Hope they find them and string them up!!! And what bad

timing in your life.

I agree with what is saying that more surgeries could help if

that is what you need. But I found it very interesting about your

proge. level. It was <1 last week and now 10 this week. If I remember

right. In one of my infertility books I looked up prog. levels in our

cycles. Maybe you have ovulated late. Because in the first 2 weeks of

our cycles the prog. levels are below 1.5mn/ml and then go up after

ovulation >15ng/ml and then drop right before our periods. Do I have

this right? If anyone else know. Did they do an US yesterday? I am so

sorry if I am stringing out your hope Gwen. Because that can be

painful also. It is just some thoughts that I had.

Love,

Gwen
