between 15 and 24 months? Are you concerned about a language delay or social problem? If so we invite you to participate in the University of Miami's study: Building Social Communication Skills in Young Children As a result of current research with infant siblings, an increasing

number of children at risk for ASD are being referred for early intervention. Currently, there is extremely limited data to inform families of appropriate intervention treatments, particularly in the toddler period. For this reason, researchers at the University of Miami have established an urgent need to document effective treatments in this age range. We are seeking families with toddlers between 15 and 24 months of age who are at risk for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to participate in a multi-site project evaluating Hanen's More than Words Program. More than Words is a parent-training

intervention designed specifically for parents of very young children with ASD in order to enhance social communication in children as well as improve overall parenting communication strategies. If you would like more information about this study please email Cardona at ccardona@... or call for more information. More information can also be located on our intervention study website: http://www.psy.miami.edu/faculty/dmessinger/fp/building.htm. *If you would like to be added to our email list or if you would like to be removed from our email list, please send an email to: jamunoz@...
