Good morning - what I recently read is that families with autoimmune disorders

carry a set of genes that tend to make people susceptible to autoimmune

disorders rather than a particular autoimmune disorder. I have RA my sister and

Dad have asthma. In one study the researchers could tell what disorder mice

would develop from their gene variations but said humans were much more complex

and that they could not diagnose which disorder humans would have just from

their genes. I wish I could have found the info again on-line.
