Guest guest Posted June 3, 2008 Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 I got hung up on the word, “eligible”. You may be eligible for services but you should receive what the child needs. I believe the Law refers to it as unique needs. There is nothing unique about everyone getting the same amount of therapy. Aren’t we talking about a spectrum disorder? Once again it is a lot easier finding a shoe that fits all. But when we lived in Broward and my son was just 2 years old he was diagnosed with autism and global developmental delays.
