rally on cut of services

Greetings to all,

From: Fred Eisinger

Ceremonies beginning at 10:00 AM sharp (so be there a bit earlier) at 111 S. Sapodilla Ave., West Palm Beach – the Dimick State Office Building. We will convene on southwest side of the building. We have permission from the West Palm Beach Police Dept. and State Department of Facility Management. You should be working on your signs – the key word should be “STOP”. As many people in red shirts as possible, please. We will distribute on site the black arm bands. Parking is in metered spaces on Datura and Clematis Street. Bring lots of quarters! I can’t imagine, even with media there, that we will not be finished by 11:00 AM. As I have indicated before, it might be a good idea to bring some water and cups. See you there.

Also If you would like a max of five minutes to make a speech at the Rally on May 21, please let me know and I will be glad to include you on the agenda.

Call me at with any questions or concerns, or just email me.

-----Original Message-----From: Fred Eisinger Dear Agency Executive:

As of this writing, the following has been established regarding a rally to protest cuts in funding:

Date of rally – May 21 2008

Location of rally – APD Headquarters, 111 Sapadilla Avenue, West Palm Beach

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Media: We will invited is all tv, radio, and print media.

Color of the day for shirts/blouses/tops – RED, with a black ribbon that will be provided for wrapping around one’s arm

Each agency will do their own signage; slogans such as “20 Years of Cuts”, “I Deserve Better”, “I’ve Been Abandoned”, “Don’t Abandon Me”, “Restore The Funds”, “Kill The Cuts”, “Florida Doesn’t Care”, etc.

The Slogan for the day is “STOP” – one sign will be provided for each contingent.

We want agencies to invite their parents, board members, and bring all your clients.

It is my role to apply for a permit from the City of WPB Police Department. I am assuming that we will have no problem getting the permit.

Regards,

Fred Eisinger
