Guest guest
Well I been on clonazepam 2 mg per day and prozac 10 mg per day for about 20 years. I was put on the clonazepam for seizures the prozac for depression both by the VA. I am withdrawling from the clonazepam now for the last month I went cold turkey for 2 weeks and found I could not do it so I went back on it and now am tritating at 5% a week that don't feel much better then the cold turkey but I guess I got to do the time just hope I can do it. I looked at 2 programs Point of return and the road back and was hoping to maybe try one of them so that is why I found this group to see if anyone has tried eigther of them and are they worth the money or should I just go on like I am? I have stopped drinking diet coke and am down to just 1 cup of coffee in the morning, heck I used to say that cup of coffee was the high light of my day. pretty sad life. I have been walking 3 miles a day for years and now it's my high light of the day thank god I have a wonderfull dog that will let me tag along. Lost my wife to lung cancer Feb. 19th so I'm still dealing with that, we would of been 40 years together in July. In 1985 I was injured and have had 5 back surgerys L4-5 S1 fussions that would never take just got worse each time nerve damage ect. 2 years ago I had an infection and the VA gave me CIPRO for 10 days and then a year later they gave it to me again , I never thought it was harming me just thought it was my back and the nerve damage till i went and got a massage cause my neck and elbo was hurting and she told me that was tendons that were hurting so did some research and sure enough the cipro dose that to you. now with withdrawling it seems to attack my neck elbow my back and both legs and ankels. I really don't know what to do the VA wont work with me with my withdrawl it would be nice if they would do my compounding for me so that is why i am tritating on my own. I look forward to hearing from this group and I wish you all well.
