You can find a list of schools by County here: http://www.floridaschoolchoice.org/Information/PrivateSchoolDirectory/ Default.aspx?prgmtype=2 There are over 100 schools that are McKay perticipating schools in Dade, ranging from Church and Montessori to chains like the Lincoln- Marti schools to autism specific schools. McKay Scholarships range from a few thousand to over twenty thousand dollars a year, the amount is based on the students matrix number. He was suspended yet again from school yesterday and I don’t think I can put him or us through another year in a regular school. He is in an ESE program in Miami Lakes Middle School. His matrix score last year was 253. The reason I had sent out the email was because McKay's list of private schools is rather extensive and none of them specify if they have an Autistic program, only if they are Religions, Military, etc. and I just wanted to know if anyone knew of any schools that had Autistic programs.
