If I can supply any fyrther info I would be glad to do so.>> Cheers Dale>> Hi Dale, I mentioned in another post today that stomach issues occur when taking an SSRI (Celexa) because the gut has the most serotonin receptors. Initially, too much serotonin is reaching too many receptors as a result of the drug.. It would really be a shame to have to continue this drug given the fact that they truly are of very little use. There's nothing you can do to change this. There's nothing in nature to help you adapt to something that doesn't belong in your body. Ask yourself why you began the Celexa. Don't accept a vague answer like " I was feeling down'> Track it and figure out why you were feeling down. What were you experiencing? What happened in your life? What were you thinking about? I've found than most people who have been taking psychotropic drugs tend to think that they are never supposed to struggle and if they do, they need a drug. Therapists feed this belief. Please let me know what you figured out. Thanks. If you'd like to stop the Celexa, since you've been on it for such a short time, I'd immediately jump back down 20 mg (see post below for current protocol). If you do this, let me know and we'll take the next steps together.
