Guest guest
I also developed hypothyroid and my periods became irregular--used to be like clockwork then started coming between 21--25 or 26 days, sometimes 19 days. I was anemic and my iron stores are always on low side. I was on a crazy cocktail one after another back in 2005 and it totally messed me up. I still have to take 25--50 mg of Seroquel at night -- can't get below 25 mg. Have had very bad results from not getting enough sleep for extended periods of time so this is the toughest thing for me to change. Doctors do not support my desire to taper off and I have my own fears about it that get in the way too. I also take a liquid form of Lorazepam -- tapering down .10 at a time from 1 mg at night now at about .6. But sleep is not as good lately -- cause for concern. I'll be 46 in July so some of this may be pre-menopause--lowering estrogen. Tried using progesterone but my periods came more frequently when I used it. Now use a testosterone cream and that has seemed to be getting my periods back on track. >> ** Hi a, Was this just a comment or do you have a question? Thanks!
