Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I can't say enough about how great all your messages are. I got onto this group after I'd withdrawn from my 5-drug cocktail on my own. I'd taken 5 1/2 months to get off the drugs, with a big bump at the end because I went down too fast (the idea is to taper off very slowly into nothingness...). Well, at the time I joined here I was experiencing brain zaps, nerve pain, etc. I hadn't realized that what I thought was a slow withdrawal was actually fast! Just to say that by following the advice I've been reading here, I am still recovering. My symptoms have slowly abated or even disappeared. Now ten months drug-free, I realize that complete recovery will take a long time. I was on the drugs for almost two years (including the complete cocktail for 15 months). So: you can get better! The secrets I've learned from this forum are good nutrition, supplements, moderate regular exercise, taking it easy, avoiding stress, and a lot of patience. thanks everyone!
