Guest guest
Hello all, I'm Robin, 53, in Mesa AZ. I've been diagnosed with RA - I'd been having this mystery illness for almost 7 years and a new doctor finally did the bloodwork to discover it was RA. It confused me a little, since my hands and joints never hurt; this diagnosis is a suprise. My symptoms: I periodically (every couple of months or even every few weeks,) I get chilled, achey all over like I've got the flu, even sometimes a 102 fever and laying shaking with the chills in bed. It makes me quite tired and I try to go to bed to sleep it off. It never effects my bowels, but I do lose my appetite.) Since I can't get in as a new patient to the Rheumatologist till March, I thought I'd start here, to learn about the illness and how I can manage it, especially since I'd love to know if there is some trigger to my episodes. Thanks, I'm hoping now I can hunt through the archives somehow, I'm not especially adept at doing so. Wish me luck! - robin
