What can stop THIS kind of pain?

I was doing well with pain! I have, what feels like, a perpetually pinched

nerve in the middle of my left knee joint. Feels like a needle is stuck in the

middle of it all. On top of being noisy, it just hurts like hell. The joint is

bone on bone.

I guess I have to call the RD tomorrow when I get done school, but what can he

really do? Upping the pred. did not help and I cannot take more Lodine.
