My visit today with my vocational Rehab office

I have never had much faith or patience is government workers. But after

many month of waiting I finally had an appnt with Texas Dept of disabilities

and

assistive devices( I think that is what they are called now) they use to be

Texas Depart of vocational services.

I met with a very nice lady. Took nearly two hours to gather all the info.

I still have a few things to take back tomorrow. However, the news was

promising. She is sending me for a typing test at my local workforce office and

then for some other testing....residual fuctional capacity exam. Medical exam

and a few other things.

She claims there are many jobs in my area that pay well....that I she

believes I can do. Some of those are government jobs set aside specifically

for

those disabled.

So for once I am hopeful. I still have very little trust in doctors...but

we shall see.
