Guest guest
Hello all, I have very strong feelings about the latest research that suggests giving statins to healthy people, and I wonder how others feel about it. I can't understand why good health is not being congratulated! Instead, it is being passed over as a way to frighten people that their good health may just be temporary. How is one to MAINTAIN good health on a medication (which has side effects), when they are ALREADY healthy? If you are interested in discussing this, please read the article below. Those who are not interested can simply bypass the discussion. There will also be a show today on NPR's Science Friday about this. I look forward to hearing others viewpoints.
