Guest guest
A few days ago, Hamilton Jordan (who wanted his name pronounced " jerdan " ) died of mesothelioma. It was one of three cancers with which he had had to cope. He was a politician, but nevertheless a brother. His three cancers were mesothelioma, lymphoma, and prostate. He developed a very wise viewpoint on cancer, something which far too many of our brothers fail to understand. If I had to choose the single most important quote it would be this: " Be an active partner in the medical decisions that are made about your life! " Here, errors and all, is a transcript of an interview on WebMd: http://www.webmd.com/content/article/1/1700_50500 Regards, Steve J " No man is an Island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the Continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in Mankind; And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.
