Guest guest
Glad to hear is doing so well, ! Teri wrote: Dan-My husband , , just had the radical surgery a week ago tuesday. He seems to be in close to the same shape as Ralph, maybe healing a little slower. He got the Catheter and the stitches out today and feels a whole lot better then he did this morning. Some problems with constipation, probably due to pain pills. But he hasn't taken pain pills now for three days so that part is getting better pretty quick. He was origionally a 3+3 after the biopsy, but the surgery 5 weeks later put him at a 3+4. They said the cancer was just getting ready to spill out of the prostate, but are pretty sure none did. His PSA was a 10.9 prior to surgery. We so far are not unhappy with our decision to do the radical. Robotic probably would have been better, but we couldn't get it here locally and we have no insurance so we chose the radical. We are very glad we did not delay our decision any longer then we did. This page and these people have been a wealth of information and advice. Seems like there are no "right answers", just choices and statistics. Good luck with your decision and your health.> > I just came across this Yahoo group wanted to introduce > myself and see > > where I go from here.
