Guest guest
Well, I have heard some good responses on the drug but I couldn't take it myself as within 3 days my lips, eyes and nose were twice the size as normal! But, hey, I am NOT a normal patient as I am allergic to just about everything! I think you will hear some good posts on it though! There are a lot of members on it I think. Good luck! D. I found the MTX was making me feel bad for 2 to 3 days after each dose. I just want to know of your experiences with Avara, are there any other names for it? Anything I should know. Guest guest
, thanks for your reply. I'm sorry that it didn't work for you. I hope you're right about it being an effective med though. Thanks again Pennie Re: [ ] Avaara Anyone? Well, I have heard some good responses on the drug but I couldn't take it myself as within 3 days my lips, eyes and nose were twice the size as normal! Guest guest
Pennie, Arava worked very well for me in controlling the pain and inflammation of my RA. Unfortunately, mtx had already lowered my white blood cell count, and the Arava continued the decline. I hope that it works well for you with no bad side effects. Good luck! Guest guest
I started it three weeks ago, with MTX and Remicade. I am feeling a better during the day, but still have some morning stiffness. So I think it is helping. Guest guest
I have been on Arava for over a year now. I have had no side effects at all. Some people experience some hair loss but i havent had any problems while on it. when i was on mtx i was so tired the next day and got mouth sores occasionaly. Good luck and dont forget it might take awhile to kick in for you.

Guest guest
thank you. I'm already feeling brighter knowing I don't have to lose three days a week to mtx. I don't know why it took me so long to get sorted out. I hope it works for me like it has for you. Thanks again Pennie [ ] Re: Avaara Anyone? I have been on Arava for over a year now.
