Guest guest
Helen; Your post reminded me - about 10 years ago I had this too - it was not infected, it was a hearing problem. Little flakes of the plaque would get up against my eardrum and a flake would make buzzing and clicking sounds on top of whatever else I heard. When I chewed, I could hardly hear for the rumbling and growling in my ear. Drove me nearly insane. I got one of those rubber ear bulbs to squirt warm water into the canal and kept it clean, and I used a scalp lotion my Dermatologist had given me applied with a Q-Tip to clear up the patch. I don't have to squirt any more, but I do apply the mild steroid scalp lotion whenever I sense a buildup (a sense of stiffness in my ear when I chew). Adam Bell 10 mg/day Prednisone 20 mg/wk Methotrexate Vitamin D and Calcium Getting there slowly >Well, I finally got an eye opener today or rather an " ear " opener. Guest guest
Hi Helen I too get Psoriasis in my ears. I have no great solution, but hope someone does. After having almost yearly ear irrigations, I look forward to some kind of solution. Stay Well,
Guest guest
Oh, you didn't need that too. What a drag. I had some eye involvement but not a lot, fortunately. Because I had watched my mother struggle with blindness, I was really worried that I would lose my vision too. I went right away to my optometrist and he was concerned that I had already had the RAI but he sent me on to a specialist for a consult, and then he has just monitored my eyes. I can go anytime for a checkup and he doesn't charge me. I tend to go in about every 6 months as my eyes seem to change frequently. You are indeed very fortunate to have the medical facility all there in one spot. If you are ever out this way, drop me a note and we'll for sure meet. Kate new problem Hi again: Well I guess my Graves is now affecting my eyes so I am being referred to an ophthalmologist to see what's what - my optometrist had been keeping tabs but I do agree that it is time to see a specialist. My left eye especially feels like the outside corner is pulling all the time - like the eyelashes are twisted or something - hard to describe but is very annoying so I will be glad to have it checked out. LOL I am slowly making my way through all the specialists in my clinic mind you with over 100 Drs there it will take a tad longer. I do feel very fortunate to have all those drs in one place - makes it easier to see them and they have x-ray, lab pharmacy wtc all there too. Tale care ev1

Guest guest
I've found Webmd helpful to find out possible options for health problems. I use the symptom checker. But I always leave the final diagnosis to my MD. http://www.webmd.com/ --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make your homepage.
