Guest guest
the child - foreign adoptions especially). I thought you had mentioned foreign adoption - and if that's the case, you will need a lot of time with that child to get them used to their new environment, new food, new life outside the orphanage, etc - plus, getting your son used to having a new sister or brother. If you have another a few months later, it would be tough to see how that could be in any of the children's best interest...anyhow, this is just my opinion. I hope I don't offend. I would suggest you go with your heart and chose one option or the other, but not both. - I have chosen to do the adoption-(we chose that BEFORE knowing about the AS- so it should have been NO big deal to wait) and hope to ttc when the adopted baby as 1 year old- that would mean the adopted child would be with us 1 1/2 years at least by the time a new baby came along- I feel that's appropriate- but My Dr seems to think I should be trying ASAP- I just can't being committed to adoption- and if you remember correctly I've been quoted a 50/50 chance of another late term loss- I just want dd to have a sibling- thus the adoption- nbut I don't want to miss my chance on TTC- I guess I'm asking how many got pg a year or more after surgery- or why - if it as a sucessful surgery- and you're haviing good lining- it'd be a problem- trying to alleviate the worry so I don't drive myself crazy for the next 1 1/2 years , Mike, Brenna (VSD, PS- repaired 1/29/98--- typical 3 YO- YIPES!), Baby Angel born still 11/7/00 (at 21 weeks), and Riley & Snoozer the dogs Join us again next year in remembering the millions of people affected by CHD on 2/14/2001: "A Day for Hearts: Congenital Heart Defects Awareness Day!"
