Guest guest
Steve J,My urologist wants 4 sets of 10 every day. I told him that I was still tender along the belt line when I roll onto my left side but not the right. He said that was OK. I sometimes forget to do the Kegels, so I decided that I would try 10 after I get up in the AM, 10 driving to wherever I go, 10 while cooking supper, and 10 at bedtime. I have had some "fortune" in the return of erectile function. Had a fairly hard erection last night. It is coming on. I just have to be patient.Steve S in Arkansas----- Original Message ----To: ProstateCancerSupport Sent: Saturday, September 13, 2008 10:45:18 AMSubject: Re: Disheartening Post surgical PSA On September 12, Steve S replied to : > Thanks for the encouragement. Not based upon personal experience but upon what the Chief of Urology at the local Mayo Hospital told an Us Too group: Don't overdo the kegels. Like any other muscle, you can cause damage by overuse. IIRC, he recommended two sets of ten twice a day. Regards, Steve J
