Guest guest
Hi , Remicade has been absolutely worth the risk for me! This is Steph in VA. I'm 30, was dx'd in late 1999 when I was 22 and have been on Remicade since March 2000 without a single problem. My husband & I were just discussing this tonight. The life I was leading before Remicade was so painful that I seriously contemplated suicide. I just couldn't bear the thought of a lifetime of that nightmare. For me, it was better to risk 1 year of improvement than a lifetime of pain. I have been fortunate to have not have any problems. My rheumy jokes that I'm a poster child for Remicade. Take care! Guest guest
Hi All, I just want to thank all of you for sharing your very personal experiences with me. You have given me hope that this will be the right choice for me. I hope you and your husband are both well now. Sharon I'm happy to hear your son is doing so much better. I know how it feels to have a sick child and all the worry and tears. My son has a congenital heart defect and has had, and will need at least two more open heart surgeries. He's a great kid and the main reason I try to stay motivated to keep as healthy as possible. Steph in VA thank you so much for sharing your awesome success with this drug. I agree that constant unrelenting pain can make you consider suicide. I too can't imagine years and years like this. I hope I can duplicate your experience. Once again thanks to all of you for sharing. in NJ > > Hi , > Remicade has been absolutely worth the risk for me! This is Steph in VA.
